Add a smaller remote connection point where a larger stage rack would be unnecessary. The AudioRack can serve a focused group of sources and outputs while the mix remains under the control of the host system.
Check the connection to your host
The sample rate and connection protocol matter when selecting the host. Confirm the supported port and complete expander arrangement before connecting equipment. A matching cable connector does not make dSNAKE, DX and Dante interchangeable; use the manufacturer connection guide for the intended system.
Put the connections in the right place
Allow for the rack position, power connection and practical access to the patching. Label the inputs and outputs to match the system documentation, and include the interconnection cable in the equipment plan. Commission the complete signal path rather than testing the rack in isolation.
