L-Acoustics X4i : Ultra-Compact Installation Loudspeaker
The L-Acoustics X4i is an ultra-compact professional loudspeaker specifically designed for fixed installation and short-throw applications. Part of the L-Acoustics X Series, the X4i delivers the premium sonic signature and precise coverage expected from L-Acoustics in an enclosure small enough to integrate discreetly into virtually any architectural environment.
With its compact dimensions, wide 110° coverage and flexible mounting options, the X4i installation loudspeaker is an ideal solution for theatres, corporate spaces, restaurants, hotels, museums, houses of worship, conference rooms, studios and other venues where both sound quality and visual discretion are essential.
Compact Size, L-Acoustics Performance
Despite its extremely small footprint, the L-Acoustics X4i is a true two-way passive coaxial loudspeaker.
Its 4-inch low-frequency driver and 1.4-inch diaphragm compression driver are arranged coaxially, producing a consistent 110° axisymmetric directivity. This design provides smooth and uniform coverage in both the horizontal and vertical planes, making positioning easier and helping maintain tonal consistency throughout the listening area.

Designed for Professional AV Integration
The X4i has been developed specifically for installation projects.
At less than 10 cm deep, the enclosure can fit within spaces comparable to standard architectural construction depths. L-Acoustics also offers dedicated mounting and integration accessories, allowing the X4i to be installed discreetly on walls, ceilings or within architectural structures.
Architectural finishes further simplify integration. The loudspeaker is available in pure white RAL 9010, the standard L-Acoustics brown finish or in a custom RAL colour on special order, allowing integrators and architects to minimise the visual impact of the audio system.
For projects where visual discretion is a priority, the related X4r recessed versions extend the possibilities further with in-wall and in-ceiling integration options.
