Since its foundation in 1985, Euro-Musique has been a vibrant part of Liège’s musical scene. The arrival of Jonathan Minette as its current administrator in 2010 marked a turning point for the company, transforming it into a major player in the Belgian event industry.
Driven by an unwavering passion for sound, Euromusique quickly identified L-Acoustics as its go-to brand for sound reinforcement systems. The company’s investments in cutting-edge technology have proven highly successful, establishing it as a leader in quality audio solutions. Today, its inventory boasts a wide range of L-Acoustics systems, including K2, KARA, A15, A10, X12, X8, 5XT, SB18, KS21, KS28, P1, and even the L-ISA immersive processor.
In 2024, Euro-Musique expanded its capabilities further by adding L-Acoustics new L2 system to its portfolio.
Jonathan Minette on the L2 : A Game-Changer for the Industry
“In spring 2024, I attended my first live experience with the L2 system during a concert at the ING Arena in Brussels. I was stunned by its precision, clarity, and projection—almost shocked” said Jonathan Minette.
Back in the office, he meticulously analyzed the L2’s features, from its weight, compact design, and user-friendliness to its elegant engineering and competitive pricing. Every aspect was a green light. To fully assess its potential, he simulated the L2 in various familiar venues where KARA and K2 systems are typically deployed.
Equipped with the L-ISA processor, Jonathan also tested immersive sound diffusion for ongoing projects. The results were unequivocal: “In over 90% of cases, the L2 excelled across all parameters. Based on my experience, I know Soundvision’s simulations are accurate, and it quickly became clear to me that the L2 would set a new industry standard.”
Euro-Musique made a decisive move, placing an order with XLR, his L-Acoustics provider, for 6x L2 , 4x L2D, and 4x LARAK III. As of now, Euro-Musique is proud to be the first provider in Belgium to own the L2 system, with 2 L2 and 2 L2D modules already in use and the remainder of the order eagerly anticipated.
This addition supports the company’s growing operations, housed in a newly acquired warehouse near to Liège to accommodate its expanding equipment inventory.
