Allen & Heath Avantis Solo: Full-Scale Mixing in a Compact Surface
The Avantis Solo is built for productions that need the processing and system flexibility of the Avantis platform with a smaller control surface. Its 96 kHz XCVI FPGA engine supports 64 input channels and 42 configurable mix busses, while the single-screen format keeps the console practical for compact FOH positions, monitor setups and installed systems.
This is the original Avantis Solo configuration. Capacity and processing upgrades such as dPack or RackUltra FX are separate options and are not implied by this product listing.
A Focused One-Screen Workflow
A 15.6-inch Full HD capacitive touchscreen works with 12 motorised faders arranged across six layers. That provides 72 assignable fader strips for inputs, mixes, FX returns, DCAs and MIDI control while keeping the physical footprint smaller than the dual-screen Avantis surface.
Eighteen assignable SoftKeys and three custom rotaries put frequently used functions within reach. Integrated metering, scene management, RTA and spectrogram tools support fast operation during rehearsals, shows and system commissioning.
Local I/O and System Expansion
The surface includes six local mic/line inputs and six local line outputs, plus stereo AES input and output. SLink connects compatible Allen & Heath remote I/O and personal monitoring systems.
Two additional I/O ports each support up to 128×128 channels at 96 kHz with compatible optional cards. This allows the console to be planned around Dante, MADI, Waves or gigaACE workflows without changing the core control surface.
Processing for Live and Installed Sound
Every input channel provides filtering, gate, parametric EQ, compression and delay. The console also includes 12 stereo FX engines, 16 DCA groups and 8 mute groups, alongside 500 scene memories and detailed recall filtering.
Automatic microphone mixing can manage up to 64 microphone sources across one, two or four zones. User permissions and remote-control options help adapt the same system to touring, venue and multi-operator installations.
